Hummus with roasted peppers and tahini
Creamy hummus with a hint of the Orient! The combination of roasted peppers and red curry paste gives it a distinctive, spicy character.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon Tahini paste QF Quality Food
- 2 tsp House of Asia Red Curry Paste
- 400 g chickpeas from a jar
- 2 red peppers
- 10 g of garlic
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
A METHOD OF PREPARING
- Roast the peppers in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 20 minutes. Remove, cover with foil, and peel once cooled.
- Place the chickpeas, roasted peppers, tahini paste, red curry paste, and garlic in a tall container. Blend until smooth, gradually adding water until desired consistency is achieved.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with pita bread, vegetables, or crackers.
Tip:
For a more intense flavor, you can add a little lime juice – the hummus will be more aromatic and refreshing.
